#4 Paraphrasing, Summarizing and Quoting

Paraphrasing, summarizing and quoting are very useful for academic writing. I wold like to talk about the means of these terms.

1) Paraphrasing
- to restate the idea in another word by simple ways
- to make  approximately same length as the original state

2) Summarizing
- to sum up the statement by your own words
- including  just the main idea
- much shorter than paraphrasing

3) Quoting
- to cite someone's word, information and phrase
- don't forget using "quotation marks"
